Ingredients/Components

  • crabmeat - 1 lb
  • bread crumbs - 1/3 c
  • mayonnaise - 3 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Old Bay to taste - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste - 1 item
  • peanut or vegetable oil for frying - 1 item

How to make crab cakes:

Remove any shell or cartilage from crabmeat. Place all ingredients (hold off on the oil) in bowl and mix together gently. Mold into cakes and cook in frying pan for 3 minutes on each side with just enough oil to prevent sticking.
