Ingredients/Components
- crabmeat - 1 lb
- bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- mayonnaise - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- Old Bay to taste - 1 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce to taste - 1 item
- peanut or vegetable oil for frying - 1 item
How to make crab cakes:
Remove any shell or cartilage from crabmeat. Place all ingredients (hold off on the oil) in bowl and mix together gently. Mold into cakes and cook in frying pan for 3 minutes on each side with just enough oil to prevent sticking.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
