Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- finely chopped celery - 1 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- minced parsley - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- bay leaves - 2 item
- shrimp - 1 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Cook onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender, stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings. Simmer 10 minutes. Add shrimp. Cook 10 to 20 minutes. Serve over hot cooked rice. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
