  • flour - 1 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • fish fillets - 2 lb
  • dry Italian or seasoned bread crumbs - 1 c

How to make deep fried fish:

Heat oil (2 to 3-inches) in deep fryer or kettle to 375°. If fish fillets are large, cut into 10 to 12 serving pieces. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Coat fish with flour mixture; dip into eggs, then coat with bread crumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 4 minutes. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
