Seafood pasta salad
Ingredients/Components
- bag small shell macaroni, cooked and drained - 1 (1
- tiny cooked shrimp, rinsed and drained
- celery, chopped small
- onion, chopped small - 1/2 c
- green or red bell pepper, chopped small - 1/3 c
- black olives, sliced - 3/4 c
- green pimento olives, sliced - 8 item
- frozen tiny peas, thawed - 1 c
- mayonnaise
- prepared bottled Italian salad dressing - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- fresh ground pepper - 1/2 tsp
How to make seafood pasta salad:
Dressing:1 1/2 c. mayonnaise1/4 c. prepared bottled Italian salad dressing1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper Add the olives and peas to the celery, onion and green or red pepper mixture. Add vegetables to macaroni and shrimp mixture. Add more vegetables to suit your taste and to give nice color combination, if you wish.Dressing: Mix together the ingredients and pour over salad mixture. Toss to mix thoroughly. Add more dressing as desired; season with salt and pepper. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
Try Adding: (I have used all three, just great.) Cheddar cheese, small cooked scallops and sliced hard-boiled eggs.
