Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • large egg - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • crabmeat - 1 lb
  • margarine for frying - 1 item

How to make crab cakes:

Mix bread, seasoning and mayonnaise. Add crabmeat; mix gently but thoroughly. If too dry add more mayonnaise. Cook cakes in frypan until brown, 5 minutes or deep fry. Makes 6 crab cakes.
