Ingredients/Components

  • salt
  • salad oil - 3 Tbsp
  • garlic powder
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • onions, chopped - 1/2 c
  • dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
  • celery, chopped - 1/2 c
  • can tomatoes - 1 lb
  • thinly sliced green pepper - 1/2 c
  • shelled cooked shrimp - 1 lb

How to make shrimp creole:

Saute celery, onion and garlic in salad oil. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and all seasonings. Simmer covered for 1/2 hours. Add shrimp and green pepper. Cool 10 to 15 minutes (simmer). Serve over rice. Serves 3 to 4.
