Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- salad oil - 3 Tbsp
- garlic powder
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- onions, chopped - 1/2 c
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- thinly sliced green pepper - 1/2 c
- shelled cooked shrimp - 1 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Saute celery, onion and garlic in salad oil. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and all seasonings. Simmer covered for 1/2 hours. Add shrimp and green pepper. Cool 10 to 15 minutes (simmer). Serve over rice. Serves 3 to 4.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
