Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 bouillon
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 2 lb
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- Tabasco sauce - 1/8 tsp
- onions, chopped - 4 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- can beer - 1 oz
- cans red kidney beans - 3 oz
- cumin powder - 1 tsp
How to make chili:
Saute together meat, onions, celery and green pepper until meat is no longer pink; drain fat. In a large kettle, combine meat mixture with remaining ingredients. Bring to boil; lower heat and simmer, covered, for 2 to 3 hours.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
