Cornbread stuffing
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 3 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- beaten eggs - 4 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- stalks chopped celery - 3 item
- small onions, chopped - 3 item
- Ballard Old South cornbread mix, baked as directed - 2 c
How to make cornbread stuffing:
Mix the baked cornbread with the package of herb stuffing mix and set aside. In saucepan, combine the butter, chopped celery, onions, water, salt and black pepper. Cook until tender. Combine with dry mixture along with eggs and stock from turkey or chicken to moisten as needed.
