Marinated shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined - 1 lb
- or 3 medium onions, cut into rings - 2 item
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- sugar - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- bay leaf optional - 1 item
- Tabasco - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice fresh - 1/4 c
How to make marinated shrimp:
Fill bowl with alternate layers of shrimp and onions. Combine vinegar, water, salt, sugar and spices in saucepan. Bring to boil; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool mixture. Add lemon juice and oil. Pour over shrimp. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Drain off marinade and serve.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
