Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 3/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- green peppers, sliced - 2 item
- can tomato soup, undiluted - 1 item
- sliced, cooked carrots - 5 c
- raw carrot, sliced in rings - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Combine soup, vinegar, sugar, oil and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to boil and pour over carrots. Add onion and peppers. Stir well. Refrigerate overnight (covered). Drain to serve as cold relish or heat as vegetable. Keeps well for a long time in the refrigerator.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
