Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cider vinegar - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 3/4
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- small green pepper, chopped - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Peel carrots, slice and cook until barely tender. Drain. Heat oil, soup, vinegar, soup and spices until blended. Combine carrots, peppers and onion. Pour heated vinegar mixture over all. Refrigerate for 24 hours.This will keep a long time in the refrigerator. You may substitute 3 jars of canned carrots.
