Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- Crisco vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- medium size carrots - 1 pkg
- red onion small to medium - 1 item
- bell pepper small to medium - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Boil carrots until tender. Peel carrots and wash. Cut into rings of medium thickness. Cut the onion and bell pepper into rings (large onion and bell pepper rings may be halved or quartered, if desired).
