Lemon bar



  • flour - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • Cool Whip - 1 c
  • nuts optional - 1/2 c
  • cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
  • boxes instant lemon pudding - 2 item
  • stick butter, softened at room temperature - 1 item
  • milk for both pkg - 3 c

How to make lemon bar:

Combine flour and butter; cut with fork like pie crust. Pat in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 375° until light brown.

Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and 1 cup of Cool Whip. Spread on top of cool crust.

Mix the pudding with the milk. Spread on top of cheese mixture. Top with rest of the Cool Whip and nuts.
