Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 oz
- green pepper - 1 item
- dill weed - 1/4 tsp
- large onion - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Cut carrots into julienne strips. Cook in small amount of water until barely tender; drain and cool. Slice onion thinly and cut pepper into strips. Combine with carrots. Mix the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over carrots, onions and peppers. Chill.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
