Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cider vinegar - 2/3 c
  • salad oil - 1/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • green bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • cans or jars sliced carrots, drained - 2 item

How to make copper pennies:

In saucepan, put last 6 ingredients. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. While still hot, add the other ingredients. Let cool. Cover and keep in refrigerator overnight.
