- sugar - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- light brown sugar
- spinach, washed and stems removed - 8 oz
- strawberries, washed, stems removed and halved
- medium mushrooms, sliced - 3 item
- slivered almonds, toasted - 1/2 c
How to make strawberry spinach salad:
Dressing:1/4 c. light brown sugar1/4 c. sugar1/4 c. vinegar Place spinach in a bowl. Arrange strawberries and mushrooms over spinach. Sprinkle with almonds and serve with dressing. Makes 3 servings.Dressing: Bring sugars and vinegar to a boil, stirring often so sugars do not stick to pan. Cool.
