Oriental cabbage salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- slivered almonds, toasted - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- sesame seed, toasted - 2 Tbsp
- green onions, chopped - 4 item
- peanut oil or salad oil - 1/3 c

How to make oriental cabbage salad:
Salad Dressing: seasoning pkg. from Ramen1/3 c. peanut oil or salad oil2 Tbsp. sugar3 Tbsp. vinegar salt and pepper to taste Crumble the Ramen noodles (uncooked) over the cabbage. Add green onions, almonds and sesame seed. Put all ingredients for the dressing in a bottle and shake well. Just before serving, pour dressing over the salad. For a less crunchy salad, pour the dressing on the salad an hour or two before serving.This recipe was given to me in Japan by Judy Galley, a long term missionary from West Seneca.
