Chili beans



Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- salt optional - 1 tsp
- hamburger - 1 lb
- tomato juice - 1 c
- small can mushrooms - 1 item
- cans red kidney beans - 2 item
- stewed tomatoes - 1 pt
- or 2 onions, sliced - 1 item
How to make chili beans:
Saute onions in shortening until tender. Add hamburger and cook until hamburger turns gray. Add all the other ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, One Dish meal.
