Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1/2 item
- bag grated Cheddar cheese - 12 oz
- large squash, chopped - 6 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cook chopped squash, adding onions, butter, salt and pepper. When squash is tender, drain thoroughly. Add the can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 of the grated Cheddar cheese. Pour mixture into a 9 x 12-inch baking pan or a casserole dish. Spread remainder of grated cheese across the mixture. Sprinkle can of French's onion on top.
