Ingredients/Components

  • squash - 3 lb
  • large onions - 2 item
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • carton sour cream - 8 oz
  • small jar diced pimentos - 1 item
  • grated cheese optional - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
  • 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item

How to make squash casserole:

Boil squash, onions and salt until tender. Drain and add chicken soup, celery soup, sour cream, pimentos, salt, pepper and grated cheese (optional). Mix stuffing mix and margarine. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with Pam. Put 1/2 dressing mix in bottom of dish. Pour squash mixture in pan and top with remaining stuffing mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
