Squash casserole



Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- paprika - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- yellow squash, cut up - 1 lb
- water chestnuts - 1/2 c
- grated Velveeta cheese - 1/2 c
- lightly buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cook vegetables in a very small amount of salted water. Add oleo and cheese and let melt; add mayonnaise and beaten egg. Mix well and pour into a buttered casserole dish. Add lightly buttered bread crumbs. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
