Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- margarine - 2/3 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- grated cheese - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 Tbsp
- canned milk - 1 c
- dry bread crumbs
- large onion - 1 item
- chopped sweet pepper - 1/2 c
- cooked squash any kind - 2 c
How to make squash casserole:
Divide bread crumbs into 3 equal parts. Preheat oven to 350°. Mix 1/3 of the bread crumbs in skillet with butter. Saute onion and both peppers. Mix 1/3 more bread crumbs, squash, eggs, salt, milk, sugar and black pepper. Place in buttered dish. Sprinkle rest of bread crumbs on top. Bake for 1 hour.
