Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- salad oil - 3 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- cooked peas - 2 c
- shrimp - 2 c
- sliced onions - 1 c
- dry parsley - 2 tsp
- chile powder - 1 tsp
- canned cut up tomatoes - 4 c
How to make shrimp creole:
Cook onions, pepper, celery and garlic in oil until tender, about 10 minutes. Add flour, salt, sugar, paprika, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder which have been mixed with 1/4 cup water. Add remaining water and simmer 15 minutes. Add tomatRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
