  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • salad oil - 3 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
  • diced celery - 1/2 c
  • cooked peas - 2 c
  • shrimp - 2 c
  • sliced onions - 1 c
  • dry parsley - 2 tsp
  • chile powder - 1 tsp
  • canned cut up tomatoes - 4 c

How to make shrimp creole:

Cook onions, pepper, celery and garlic in oil until tender, about 10 minutes. Add flour, salt, sugar, paprika, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder which have been mixed with 1/4 cup water. Add remaining water and simmer 15 minutes. Add tomat
