Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • water - 2 c
  • dairy sour cream - 3/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • salad oil - 1/4 c
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • bread crumbs - 3/4 c
  • parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • minced onion - 1/2 c
  • ground pork - 1/2 lb

How to make swedish meatballs:

Mix thoroughly the first 10 ingredients and refrigerate 2 hours. Shape into balls and slowly brown in large skillet with oil. Remove meatballs and keep warm. Blend flour with paprika and 1/2 teaspoon salt into oil in skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in water. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until smooth. Add meatballs and heat thoroughly.
