Ingredients/Components

  • onions, minced - 1 c
  • stalk celery, minced - 1 item
  • green pepper, minced - 1 item
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • raw, peeled shrimp - 2 lb
  • medium can tomatoes - 1 item
  • can tomato sauce - 1 item

How to make shrimp creole:

Saute first five ingredients slowly in butter or sweet oil until light brown. Then add slowly shrimp, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer one hour and serve over cooked rice.
