Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can tomato paste
- parsley - 2 tsp
- cooked shrimp - 1 lb
- clove garlic minced - 1 item
- cayenne pepper to taste - 1 item
- cooked white rice - 1 item
- can chopped tomatoes
- green onions sliced thin - 4 item
How to make shrimp creole:
In a 2 quart glass casserole dish, combine first 5 ingredients. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except the shrimp. Cook an additional 5 minutes. Stir mixture and add cooked shrimp. Cover and cook an additional 6-7 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.Serve on a bed of white rice.
