Oyster dressing
Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- box saltine crackers - 1/2 item
- small oysters - 1/2 pt
How to make oyster dressing:
Crush crackers and place in mixing bowl. Add oysters and juice. Add melted butter and black pepper to taste. Add approximately 2 cans of chicken broth. Mixture should be consistency to pour easily (similar to cake batter). Add more broth or a little water if needed. Pour into greased 9-inch baking dish and bake at 425° approximately 25 minutes. Should be slightly brown on top. Let set for a few minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Side dish, Seafood, Shellfish.
