Deviled crab bake
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- hard-cooked eggs - 4 item
- cans crab meat - 2 item
- drops bottled red pepper - 4 item
- coarsely crumbled saltines about 14 crackers - 1 c
How to make deviled crab bake:
Saut?© onion in margarine. Stir in flour, mustard and salt. Stir until mixed. Stir in milk slowly. Cook 1 minute until sauce thickens. Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice, red pepper and parsley. Drain crab meat; chop eggs and stir crab, eggs and half of cracker crumbs into sauce. Put in baking dish. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
