Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 2/3 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- cooked shrimp
- bay leaves - 2 item
- celery salt to taste - 1 item
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Saute onions, green peppers and celery in butter. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings and simmer for about 40 minutes. Add cooked shrimp just before serving. Serve over cooked rice. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
