- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- grated rind of lemon - 1 item
- Add milk and grated rind of lemon
How to make lemon bread:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs together. Add milk and grated rind of lemon. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 55 to 65 minutes. Cool. While warm, drizzle glaze over top.Glaze:1/2 c. sugar juice of 1 lemon Drizzle over top of warm cake.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Oven.
