Best bran muffins


Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- sugar or 1/2 white and 1/2 brown - 1 c
- raisins drop a few on top of each muffin before baking - 1 item
- well packed bran not crushed cereal - 1 c
How to make best bran muffins:
Mix wet ingredients and sugar. Mix dry ingredients and then mix with wet ingredients. Do not overmix. Pour into muffin tins sprayed with Pam. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Batter will be thin and should be stored in refrigerator if not baked immediately. Keeps 1 week or more and can be baked as needed.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
