Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/4 lb
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour, sifted - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- chopped nut meats - 1/2 c
- mixture of sugar and cinnamon - 1 item
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream butter, sugar and add 2 eggs. Beat well. Add dry ingredients, alternate with sour cream. Add nut meats and vanilla.Grease tube pan. Pour in half batter. Sprinkle liberally with sugar and cinnamon. Add remaining batter. Sprinkle top as above. Spoon 3 tablespoons of butter over all. Bake at 350°.
