Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- salad oil - 2/3 c
- can cream style corn - 1 item
- sharp cheese, grated - 1 c
- self rising corn meal
- sm onion, chopped - 1 item
- or 2 chopped jalapeno peppers - 1 item
How to make mexican corn bread:
Mix cornmeal, eggs, corn, peppers, oil, buttermilk, onions and cheese. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 425° for 30-35 minutes our until brown on top.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
