  • pkg - 1 oz
  • carton sour cream - 1 oz
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • onion, finely chopped - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • corn flakes
  • butter - 1/2 c

How to make hash brown potato casserole:

Topping:2 c. corn flakes1/2 c. butter Let potatoes thaw and spread in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Mix other ingredients together and pour over potatoes. Bake about 45 minutes at 350°. Take out of oven and put crushed corn flakes on top of casserole. Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour over flakes. Return to oven for a few minutes.
