Cream of broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 qt
- flour - 1 item
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- water - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- bunch broccoli - 1 item
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
Cut the very tips of 1 bunch of broccoli. Cover with water and cook for 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add 1/2 stick margarine.While this is cooking, saute a very small onion in 1/2 stick margarine until it is clear. Add this to the broccoli. Cook 5 more minutes. Add 1 quart of milk. Cook until milk is hot, not boiling. Thicken with a little water with flour.
