- large cabbage - 1 item
- stick margarine - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- grated cheese - 1 c
- small bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
How to make cabbage casserole:
Cut cabbage into quarters and boil. Saute margarine, onion, flour and bell pepper in a skillet. Add water, milk, salt and pepper. Place cabbage quarters in a buttered casserole dish and pour soup mixture over the cabbage. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 375° until bubbly.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
