Ingredients/Components

  • sliced celery - 1 c
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • flour - 2/3 c
  • water - 4 c
  • chicken bouillon or 6 cubes - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • frozen carrot, broccoli and cauliflower combo - 2 c
  • frozen hash browns - 1 c
  • half and half - 3 c
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

How to make garden cheese soup:

In kettle, cook celery and onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour until smooth. Add water, bouillon, pepper and vegetables; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add milk and cheese. Cook and stir until cheese melts. Do not boil.
