Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 gal
- flour - 2 3
- margarine - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 2 3
- basil - 1 tsp
- cooked rice optional - 1 c
- chopped vegetable your choice - 4 c
How to make cream of anything soup:
Steam vegetables until tender. In blender puree a third of vegetables using water cooked in. Melt margarine in large pot. Add flour, stirring until it begins to brown. Slowly add milk. Add both pureed vegetables and steamed vegetables, soy sauce, basil and rice. Simmer 20 minutes. Do not boil.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups.
