Crawfish etouffee
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 lb
- water - 4 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 4 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- medium bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- Tabasco sauce to taste - 1 item
- red and black pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley, chopped optional - 1 item
- crawfish tails and fat - 1 2
- green onion tops optional - 1 item
How to make crawfish etouffee:
Melt butter in large heavy skillet. Saute vegetables in butter for 30 minutes. Add seasonings to taste, then crawfish tails and fat. Saute for a minute and stir in flour. Continue sauteing for 3 minutes. Add water, chicken bouillon, green onions andRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crawfish.
