Ingredients/Components

  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/4 c
  • grated onion - 1 item
  • crabmeat - 1 lb
  • pinch of pepper - 1 item
  • lightly beaten egg - 1 item

How to make crab cakes:

Combine all ingredients and mix until blended. Shape into 3-inch patties. Pour cooking oil in skillet until 1/4 inch full. Heat over medium heat until hot. Slip 4 cakes into skillet. Fry, turning over once. Cook until golden brown, about 6 minutes. Transfer to paper toweling to dry.
