Ingredients/Components
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- grated onion - 1 item
- crabmeat - 1 lb
- pinch of pepper - 1 item
- lightly beaten egg - 1 item
How to make crab cakes:
Combine all ingredients and mix until blended. Shape into 3-inch patties. Pour cooking oil in skillet until 1/4 inch full. Heat over medium heat until hot. Slip 4 cakes into skillet. Fry, turning over once. Cook until golden brown, about 6 minutes. Transfer to paper toweling to dry.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
