Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 4 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- hot cooked rice - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- medium bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- shrimp, shelled - 2 lb
- Tabasco hot sauce - 1 Tbsp
- tomato sauce or canned crushed tomatoes - 1 c
How to make shrimp creole:
In a skillet over medium heat, saut?© onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in oil until tender (about 10 minutes). Stir in tomato sauce, water, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add shrimpRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
