Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- sliced onions - 2 item
- green onions 4 or 5, chopped - 1 item
- fresh lemons, sliced - 4 item
- whole trout, cleaned with heads on - 4 item
How to make baked trout:
You will need aluminum foil (4 pieces large enough to roll up around trout).Lay one trout on each aluminum square. Under trout, place 2 slices of lemon and 2 slices of onion. Sprinkle outside and inside of each trout with Cavender's seasoning. Place lemon and onion slices in cavity of trout and add a pat of butter. Repeat on top of trout. Then fold aluminum foil securely so it will not leak. Place trout on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
