Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 item
- tomato slices - 1 item
- onion slices - 1 item
- trout fillets - 1 item
How to make baked trout:
May use zucchini, artichoke hearts, carrots, sauteed mushrooms and green pepper rings.Baste trout with lemon juice. Place trout on heavy foil. Arrange 2 slices of onion and tomato over each trout fillet. May use any of a combination of zucchini (chopped), sliced carrots or mushrooms for top. Place green pepper ring on each fillet and 2 pats of butter on top. Wrap in foil and bake 40 to 45 minutes at 375°. May turn off oven and serve up to 45 minutes later, if desired. Pace picante sauce may be served on the side or may be brushed on trout before adding other ingredients. Use 1 trout fillet per serving.
