Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- Cheddar cheese - 1/4 c
- sliced onions
- crushed crackers saltines, Ritz or Captain Wafers - 1 c
How to make vidalia onion pie:
Melt butter in glass pie plate in 350° oven. Add crushed crackers and mix well. Saute onion in 2 tablespoons butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour sauteed onions over cracker crumbs. Beat eggs and add milk; pour over onions. Cover with grated cheese. Bake for 30 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Vegetables.
