Sweet and sour carrots



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 1 lb
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
  • or 5 slices bacon - 4 item

How to make sweet and sour carrots:

Slice, cook and drain carrots. Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Dissolve cornstarch in small amount of water. Add this to sugar and vinegar mix. Cook until clear and thick. Fry bacon; drain and crush. Pour sauce over carrots and add bacon.
