Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 lb
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- or 5 slices bacon - 4 item
How to make sweet and sour carrots:
Slice, cook and drain carrots. Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Dissolve cornstarch in small amount of water. Add this to sugar and vinegar mix. Cook until clear and thick. Fry bacon; drain and crush. Pour sauce over carrots and add bacon.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
