Corn relish
Ingredients/Components
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- chopped red pepper or pimiento - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
How to make corn relish:
Combine all ingredients except corn in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add corn and bring again to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes, or until corn is just tender. Serve hot or cold. Makes 2 cups.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Corn.
