Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- carrot, grated - 1 item
- can chicken or mushroom soup - 1 item
- fresh squash, cooked and drained - 2 lb
- large onion, grated I cut mine in small pieces and cook in small amount margarine - 1 item
- Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix or cracker crumbs on top - 1/2 pkg
How to make squash casserole:
Grease large casserole dish. Sprinkle 1/2 of stuffing mix on bottom. Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well. Pour over stuffing mix in casserole. Sprinkle remaining stuffing mix over squash. Bake at 350° until bubbly, about 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
