Ingredients/Components
- mashed squash - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- shortening - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- scalded milk - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- lukewarm water - 1/4 c
- flour
How to make squash rolls:
Combine squash, sugar, shortening and salt in scalded milk. Heat to lukewarm. Combine yeast with water. Add to first mixture. Add flour and mix well. Let rise until double. Knead and shape into rolls. Let rise. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Squash, Rolls/biscuits.
