Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- medium squash - 8 item
- bread crumbs or croutons - 1 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- Salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- sausage - 1/2 lb
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- tomatoes, canned or fresh - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- shredded cheese - 1 c
How to make squash casserole:
Cut squash, boil and drain. Brown sausage and drain. Mix all together. (It's better to do this and let stand in refrigerator overnight.) Top with shredded cheese and bake for 1 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
