Ingredients/Components

  • 6 c - 2 lb
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • shredded carrots - 1 c
  • seasoned stuffing mix or croutons - 1 (8
  • melted butter - 1/2 c

How to make squash casserole:

Cut squash in small cubes. Cook with onion for 5 minutes. Drain.

Combine soup and sour cream. Stir in shredded carrots. Fold in drained squash and onion. Combine butter and stuffing. Spread 1/2 of stuffing on bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan. Spoon vegetables over stuffing. Top with rest of stuffing. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
